Using this Website

We try to keep a positive vibe in our club. So think before you post! We reserve the right to remove posts/comments that are:
• Profane, defamatory, offensive or contain violent language
• “Trolling”, or posting deliberately disruptive statements meant to hijack comment threads or throw discussions off-track
• Attacks on specific groups or any comments meant to harass, threaten or abuse an individual
• Hateful or discriminatory comments regarding race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or political beliefs
• Links or comments containing sexually explicit content material
• Discussion of illegal activity
• Promoting products, services, or brands
• Content determined to be inappropriate, in poor taste, or otherwise contrary to the purposes of our club

Attending TAR game days

Airsoft involves risks and you enter/participate at your own risk. Such risks include the risk of catastrophic injury, paralysis, blindness and even death as well as other damages associated with airsoft equipment. You will follow the instructions of all game Marshals and/or designated safety officers while attending events organised by Taranaki Airsoft Rangers Incorporated (TAR). It is compulsory to attend a pre game safety briefing at each event. You consent to receive medical treatment in the event of injury, accident and/or illness during events held by TAR. You will not hold the club, organisers, officers, officials and/or any person involved with the event liable for any loss or injury to person or equipment.

You will follow the rules and regulations as laid out by TAR.
No alcohol or drugs are to be brought to or consumed at any event run by TAR.
You will not use profane, defamatory, offensive or violent language at events run by TAR, and you will not abuse or disrespect others on the basis of ethnicity, religion, gender, disability, or political beliefs.
You agree to abide by and follow the Arms Act 1983 with relation to Airguns.
You may be pulled from an event if you are not abiding by the club rules.
You are over 18 years of age, 16 with a firearms licence, or you have the consent of your parent or guardian.
You must wear safety gear as prescribed in the safety guidelines.
You grant permission for any photographs or movies taken at a TAR event to be used for promotional purposes. You agree to allow TAR to crop or treat the photograph at its discretion so long as it is not used in an offensive or derogatory way. You acknowledge that TAR may not use the image at this time but may do so at a later date. You also acknowledge that once posted on the World Wide Web that the image may be downloaded by any computer user.

You take responsibility for your own actions and will not take legal proceedings (whether by yourself, or by your executors, administrators, heirs, next of kin and/or successors) for any matter against the following person(s) or entities: Airsoft New Zealand, Any Club Affiliated with Airsoft New Zealand, any person affiliated with Airsoft New Zealand, land managers and/or owners, event organisers, volunteers, all cities, towns, regions, districts, properties and/or other areas in which the event may be staged, and their representatives, respective officers, directors, employees, independent contractors, representatives, agents and volunteers.
