1 hour WORKING BEE 21st January
January 21 @ 8:30 am - 10:00 am
Free
Please arrive at 8:30am for a 9am start – we’ll finish at 10am in time for the game.
We’ve got some tidying up to do on Alpha and Bravo fields – and we need your help!!
This working bee will concentrate on clearing blackberry and gorse from the existing tracks.
Who should come:
EVERY member that is willing to give up an hour to improve our field.
What to bring:
GLOVES to protect your from the gorse and blackberry. Any equipment that will help to cut blackberry, gorse and scrub. I’ve found electric and petrol hedge trimmers to be really effective against Blackberry. Gorse can be cut with saws and normal long handled secateurs.
Make sure you bring all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment – we’re on a working farm and Health and Safety is our top priority. If you don’t have the appropriate protection, you may not be able to use your gear – (especially applicable to chainsaws).
Food and drink.
What’s in it for me?
This counts towards your engineers patch and most importantly, we improve our field and the game day experience for everyone!
See you there!!
